BOTOX® Cosmetic
One of the most popular non-surgical procedures we offer at El Paso Cosmetic Surgery is BOTOX® Cosmetic. A potent poison produced by a specific bacteria that paralyzes muscles, BOTOX® Cosmetic has proven itself largely useful for the treatment of frown lines, forehead furrows, crows feet and wrinkles of the lower face and the neck. Results of just one BOTOX® injection application at El Paso Cosmetic Surgery last, on average, four to six months, proving BOTOX® Cosmetic to be a very effective non-surgical cosmetic procedure.
BOTOX® Cosmetic is diluted and injected into targeted areas of the face. The procedure is fast, easy and painless. And to date, no systemic complications have been associated with BOTOX® Cosmetic. Restylane®
Restylane® is an injectable filler that can last up to six months and is most effective if performed before the effects of the last procedure have worn off. Unlike BOTOX® Cosmetic, which paralyzes the muscles, Restylane® is a natural collagen filler that reduces the appearance of skin folds and wrinkles around the mouth and eyes, or in the forehead area.
Restylane® can also be used to create natural-looking, full lips.
Fat Injections
Body fat makes an excellent soft tissue filler for several reasons. It is:
- Natural
- Non-allergenic
- The effects last from several months to indefinitely
- There is little or no recovery period or downtime.
Usually performed in an office setting, fat injection can be used:
- To fill in deep wrinkles like frown lines and nasolabial folds
- To give fullness to augment lips
- As a rejuvenation tool that replaces age-induced face tissue loss.
The technique usually involves obtaining fat from one part of the body, such as the abdomen, buttocks, or the thighs, and injecting it in another. The extracted fat is washed, the blood is separated from the fat, and the fat is placed in a syringe and injected into the targeted area.
Two or three sessions of fat injection can usually accomplish the desired fullness indefinitely because about 50 percent of the fat remains after each session
Tissue Cocktail
A tissue cocktail is any natural, soft tissue filler material, like fat. In addition to fat in tissue cocktails, there are often other components such as human skin and subcutaneous tissue usually obtained during surgeries like, scar revisions, tummy tucks and face-lifts. These tissues are put into an injectable form and injected into the areas where fullness is needed to accomplish the desired effects.
Excellent material for filling up facial wrinkles, giving fullness to the face and achieving fullness in lip augmentation, the tissue cocktail has proven very successful in a variety of applications. A distinct advantage over fat injection is that a higher portion of tissue cocktail remains permanently, making it a more reliable material to inject in one or two sessions, with results that last indefinitely.
Brow Suspension (Feather Lift)
The forehead and brows tend to age much faster than the rest of the face because gravity usually affects the browline first. People look younger when they are lying down because the pull of the gravity on the face is eliminated. Even in a mirror, elevating the brows opens up the eyes, taking years off the face. How does it work?

How effective is it?
Although it will not help with forehead wrinkles, it will elevate the brow, opening up the eyes and brightening the face. Results can be dramatic and long-lasting, but patients need to remember that the elevation achieved with brow suspension is not the same result achieved with actual brow lift surgery.
What are the advantages?
It's simple, affordable and performed under local anesthesia. It takes about fifteen minutes to complete, causes hardly any bruising or swelling and patients immediately return to work or home. It's a great solution for people who want a brow elevation but do not desire surgery.
The brow suspension is performed under local anesthesia, and takes only 15 minutes to perform. The requirements following the procedure are similar to that of another non-surgical procedure such as a BOTOX® injection, calling for the avoidance of alcohol and aspirin prior to the procedure. The effects of the procedure will be fully visible in five to 10 days.
Neck suspension
Similar to a brow suspension, a neck suspension uses sutures to non-invasively contour and rejuvenate the neck. This procedure can eliminate the appearance of a neck wattle by pulling sagging collagen and tissues back into place, giving the neck a firm, youthful contour.
