The Scarless Facelift: What Is It and How Much Does It Cost?

If you are considering a facelift but are not sure if you’re prepared for visible scars, you may be asking yourself whether you can see the same results with minimal scars. When you hear about a “scarless facelift,” you may be discussing a non-surgical facelift or a minimal-scar surgical procedure with more dramatic, lasting results.

What is the Scarless Facelift?

A traditional facelift or rhytidectomy typically uses scars around the ears and along the hairline to lift and tighten excess skin. Dr. Sozer’s innovative Glidelift™ is a “no visible scar facelift” that uses a few small incisions hidden near the ears to lift the skin and underlying structures. As a result, you can see all the results of a traditional rhytidectomy with just a few unnoticeable scars. However, all surgical procedures involve some scars.

How Much Does the Scarless Facelift Cost?

Because the Glidelift™ is a customized procedure, your cost will vary depending on your needs. The cost of a traditional facelift ranges widely from $5,000 for minor versions to $50,000 for complex procedures. Dr. Sozer and his team will help you understand what factors go into your total cost, including:

  • The details of the procedure
  • The facility (we are AAAASF certified)
  • Your anesthesia (usually general anesthesia)
  • Whether you combine other procedures with your Glidelift™

Is There a Non-Surgical Facelift?

While you can achieve improvements with non-surgical treatments, they will not achieve the results of a Glidelift™. However, those who prefer no anesthetic or incisions may choose to have a “non-surgical facelift” using a variety of procedures.

A non-surgical facelift frequency includes dermal fillers to lift and restore lost volume and Botox® to smooth away wrinkles. It may also include skin-tightening treatments such as lasers or microneedling. This method works best for those with minimal loose skin or who want to test out a temporary option before a surgical rhytidectomy.

Am I a Good Candidate for a Scarless Facelift?

The Glidelift™ procedure is ideal for almost anyone interested in tightening moderate to severe sagging skin, loss of definition, and other age-related changes. Good candidates must be in good health and have realistic expectations. Dr. Sozer will assess your needs and determine whether this minimal-incision facelift option will help you achieve your goals.
