How Much Are Dermal Fillers?

People love dermal fillers for many reasons. Some people use them to smooth lines and wrinkles. Others use them to restore lost volume in their cheeks or other areas, and others use them to enhance and define their features. Dermal fillers come in different formulas with different pricing.

What are Dermal Fillers?

Dermal fillers are injectable treatments that add volume to your facial features. They can treat a wide range of concerns and provide subtle or dramatic enhancements. Popular areas for dermal fillers include the cheeks, jawline, around the mouth and nose, and lips. With natural-looking results and no downtime, fillers fit conveniently into almost any lifestyle.

How Much Are Dermal Fillers?

Dermal filler costs vary widely depending on several factors. Different types of dermal fillers are priced differently, and each person will need more or less filler for each area. Dermal filler costs vary by location and your provider’s skill and experience.

Dermal fillers are priced by the syringe. Costs per syringe can range from $375-$2,000. The average cost of hyaluronic acid fillers, the most common type, is $684 but may vary by formula. The average cost of poly-L-lactic acid fillers, which work differently, is $853. Depending on the treatment area and desired results, you may need more than one syringe.

As a Top Allergan account, here at El Paso Cosmetic Surgery, we offer the most competitive prices for the Juvederm® line of fillers.

What Types of Dermal Fillers Are Available?

Juvederm® XC Ultra and Ultra Plus

These multi-use members of the Juvederm® family can be used for the lips, lines around the mouth, and deeper creases around the mouth and nose. Juvederm® fillers use hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring molecule that provides almost immediate results.

Juvederm® Voluma XC

Juvederm® Voluma adds definition to the cheeks and chin. This dense, resilient formula makes it perfect for sculpting your cheeks or lower face.

Juvederm® Volbella XC

This member of the Juvederm® family is typically used to address fine lines and wrinkles around the mouth. It has the flexibility to look natural even in this very active area.

Juvederm® Vollure XC

Juvederm® Vollure can treat a range of lines and wrinkles, including marionette lines, nasolabial folds, and other moderate to significant lines around the lower face.

Juvederm® Volux XC

Juvederm® Volux adds definition to the chin and jaw for a more structured and chiseled jawline. This dense hyaluronic acid formula makes it perfect for sculpting your lower face.

Sculptra®

Unlike the Juvederm® fillers, Sculptra® uses poly-L-lactic acid. This compound is also used in medical devices. Instead of giving you an immediate lift, Sculptra® results develop over several months. It works by triggering collagen production for longer-lasting results.

How Long Do Dermal Fillers Last?

Each type of dermal filler has a different lifespan. Juvederm® formulas range from lip fillers at twelve months to cheek-defining fillers at up to two years. Because Sculptra® stimulates collagen development, its results will outlast most hyaluronic acid fillers. Sculptra® results can last two years or more.

Is There Any Downtime With Dermal Fillers?

Dermal fillers require no downtime so that you can return to work or other activities. Treatment takes about 15 minutes, making it easy to fit into your schedule. You may have a few spots of redness, bruising, or swelling that can last a few days.
