What is Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP)?
PRP is a serum that contains a high concentration of blood platelets, growth factors, and stem cells.
To produce PRP, our Registered Nurse or Medical Assistant will first draw a small sample of blood from your arm. The blood is then placed in a centrifuge and spun at high speed to isolate the platelets from the other components. This process yields a high concentration of platelets that releases growth factors and encourages tissue healing. The regenerating serum is injected into the facial areas where rejuvenation is required.
PRP is applied topically after microneedling and spreads smoothly and evenly. The concentrated serum penetrates deep into the dermis through the microchannels created during the microneedling treatment and promotes cell turnover.
You will see a noticeable improvement in the health and appearance of your skin after about four treatments.
Microneedling with PRP is a low-risk procedure that is suitable for all skin types. The treatment leaves your skin healthy and glowing, and the effects last up to 6 months.
Are you ready to restore the health and radiance of your skin? Microneedling with PRP may be the ideal solution for your skin concerns.
