Candidates for Breast Augmentation
*If you feel that you fit one or more of the following conditions, you may be a good candidate for breast augmentation:
- You feel that your breasts are too small
- You feel self-conscious when wearing a form-fitting top or a swimsuit
- Your breasts have become smaller and/or have lost their firmness or shape after weight loss or giving birth
- One of your breasts is noticeably smaller than the other
Choosing the Right Implant and Size
*Results of the breast augmentation procedure are optimized when the patient and the surgeon have a good understanding of each other’s desires and goals. Therefore, it is important for patients to relay their expectations of the breast enlargement procedure when they consult with Dr. Sozer or Dr. Phillips. During your breast augmentation consultation, you and your surgeon will also discuss your ideas about breast size and any other bothersome issues that relate to the breasts.
*Using state-of-the-art Vectra 3D imaging technology, we can give our patients a preview of what they may look like after breast augmentation. Patients can see how different sizes, shapes, and types of breast implant may look, helping them make the right decisions about their breast augmentation surgery.
*At El Paso Cosmetic Surgery, we offer several types of implants. To learn more about implants, please select implant tab on the menu bar. Implants have been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Breast Implant Placement and Incision Locations
*During the procedure, an implant is placed under the breast chest muscle or under the breast tissue. The location of the incision made during the procedure will determine the appearance of the resulting scar, and Dr. Sozer or Dr. Phillips makes every effort to use incisions that will minimize or hide the scar. Incisions can be hidden in the breast crease, around the areola, or in the axilla (armpit).
