Upper Eyelid Surgery

Upper eyelid surgery is performed through an incision that is hidden in the natural crease of the eyelid. This incision placement ensures discreet results. During the upper eyelid surgery procedure, excess loose or sagging skin is removed to create a more youthful, alert appearance. Upper eyelid surgery is typically performed as an outpatient procedure. Most patients are able to resume normal activities within a few days of the surgery.

Lower Eyelid Surgery

Lower eyelid surgery can be performed through an incision inside the eyelid or in the lower lash line. As with upper eyelid surgery, this incision placement ensures discreet results. During the lower eyelid surgery procedure, puffy skin and fat deposits are removed to restore a smooth, youthful look. Lower eyelid surgery is typically performed as an outpatient procedure. Most patients are able to resume normal activities within a few days of the surgery.

Should You Get Eyelid Surgery?
