What is DiamondGlow®?
DiamondGlow® is a non-invasive skin resurfacing treatment that is designed to clarify and brighten the skin for a smoother, healthier appearance. The DiamondGlow® facial is performed using a handheld device that is shaped similarly to a pen. The device has a patented diamond tip that is used to gently resurface the skin.
The DiamondGlow® facial includes three crucial processes that occur simultaneously:
1. Exfoliate
The diamond-tipped wand gently removes the dead skin cells and accumulated debris from the surface of the skin. Multiple tips are available for varying degrees of abrasion.
2. Extract
The wand uses gentle suction to vacuum away excess oil and dirt. This step removes the buildup that can lead to congested skin and enlarged pores.
3. Infuse
As the resurfacing and extraction processes take place, the skin is simultaneously infused with Pro-Infusion serums by SkinMedica®. These serums absorb immediately into the freshly exfoliated skin, and deeply nourish the skin to restore vibrancy and combat skin conditions.
What is a DiamondGlow® Treatment Like?
The DiamondGlow® treatment is completely non-invasive, comfortable, and fast. According to DiamondGlow®, 95% of clinical study patients reported that the treatment was enjoyable. The treatment protocol is designed to feel like a spa-like pamper session for your skin. At El Paso Cosmetic Surgery’s Advanced Clinical MedSpa, you will be taken to a private treatment room where you can lie down and relax while an aesthetician performs the treatment. A typical DiamondGlow® facial only takes 30-45 minutes.
Recovery and Results After a DiamondGlow® Treatment?
There is no downtime after a DiamondGlow® treatment, and patients will immediately be able to return to their usual activities. Clients with more sensitive skin may experience some temporary redness or sensitivity in the treatment area.
After a DiamondGlow® facial, 100% of clinical study patients reported that their skin was deeply cleaned, that their skin felt more firm, and that their skin looked more radiant. Over the next several days, patients also notice a decrease in the appearance of fine lines, improved skin texture, and an improvement in their skin’s hydration.
DiamondGlow® treatments can be used to improve certain skin conditions, such as dull complexion, rough skin, or fine lines and wrinkles. Am I a Good DiamondGlow® Candidate?
DiamondGlow® facials can be customized depending on each individual’s skin needs, and different diamond tips and serums can be used to suit each patient. Because of the customizability of the treatment and the gentle nature of the technology, most patients make excellent candidates for DiamondGlow®. People who have certain skin conditions or are taking certain medications may not be candidates for DiamondGlow®, so a proper skin evaluation is required to know if DiamondGlow® is right for you.
